Greyhound Racing and Football Trip, November 2006.
- Friday 24th November - Leave Leeds at about 3.30 going to the Travelodge in the centre of Peterborough. The room cost is £26
The evening will be spent at Peterborough Greyhound stadium.
- Saturday 25th November - Wake up in Peterborough and watch the Rugby League Tri-Nations Final (If Great Britain are involved).
On to Norwich for a few drinks in the centre then on to the big game Norwich City v Hull City (whooo!)
After the game it'll be on to our next accommodation which isn't the Travel Tavern a la Alan Partridge, but some guest house in Great Yarmouth.
Bad news for everyone, Gus has had 3 holidays in Great Yarmouth in 1968, 1973 (Can the Can was Number One) and 1990 so expect to hear about these holidays. The good news is that Tony's never been.
The evening will be spent at Great Yarmouth Greyhound stadium.
- Sunday 26th November - Up early for a game of golf (Tony's rules of course). After that it will be a slow journey home.
We may stop off at Leicester races and possibly even for Coventry Greyhounds in the evening, but more likely is that we'll stop at a country pub and then get back to Leeds early evening.
